Thinking Blogger Nomination
June 3, 2007 at 9:59 am by mahud

I’ve been nominated twice for the Thinking Blogger award thing. First by Kay at Songs of Unforgetting and again by Jeff Lilly over at Druid Journal. Thanks guys for including me, and I’m truly shocked that I write stuff that makes you think.
Here be my nominations
I didn’t see in the rules anything about nominating back those who nominate you so i hope that’s OK. Plus I haven’t been reading many blogs for that long and so I’m having a hard time choosing.
Songs of Unforgetting
My first nomination is for Kay. I think I found her blog becuse she linked to my Mythologyical Victim site (the first person to show any interest too), a fair few month back, and I was instantly attracted to the various posts and the comments they inspired. I have learned a great deal about religious philosophy (although some of it is beyond me, but Wiki is always there to help me out), which has made me think and reevaluated my own ideas and beliefs quite a bit. I especially love it when she does the mystical mythology stuff
Druid Journal
Everything Jeff Lilly says on his blog on comments on other blogs makes me think. Always there for others, and has a big heart, not that I really know him or anything, but thats my initial impression. I hope to learn a lot from this chap.
Meadowsweet & Myrrh
I discovered this blog, (authored by Ali) a couple of weeks ago, and read almost every article. I love her writing style, the nature stuff, and spiritual insights. It’s a total pleasure to read.
Sailing to Byzantium
Blog by Kullervo, who is an ex member of the Church of the Latter day Saints, a religion I’m almost completely ignorant of, apart from all the cult propaganda crap I used to read when I was a fundamentalist. A lot of the questions ideas, and thoughts he blogs about, reminds me of the stuff I went through a few years ago, when I went through my agnostic phase.
Jewish Myth, Magic, and Mysticism
I’ve only just discovered this blog, and I know it will give me plenty of food for thought. The name of the blog says it all really. This has to be the one true mythology blog gem, I’ve encountered so far. There seems to be a real lack of Mythology blogs, for some reason, unless they are all hiding or something.
The Rules
The participation rules are simple:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post (the source of the meme) so that people can easily find the exact origin.
3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award.”
