Re: Questions about Paganism for Pagans

July 29, 2007 at 1:54 pm by mahud

A big thank you to Allyson and Aquila ka Hecate for taking the time to respond to my questions about Paganism.

I’d still like loads more input, so if you are up for it, it would be great if you could respond either on your blog or in the comments section :D

I wonder if I’m taking liberties asking Pagans these questions. Perhaps I should just go read some books or websites, or something. Actually I’m doing both, but I prefer hearing what the Internet Pagans have to say :D I’m also hoping to put everyone’s answers and perspectives in a series of future posts.

Not ignoring the questions Mahud, just wondering how to answer them as I try to decide which ones (if any) apply to me.

No problem, Kay. No pressure from me ;). I want to keep the questions visible more than anything, so I’ll probably post the odd reminder once in a while :)

Oh…these are interesting! I may cogitate on some myself if you don’t mind - found your site via Terri at Aquila Ka Hecate.

Don’t worry about skipping books and such and seeking internet answers. In some ways, books are wonderful resources on tried-and-true answers (for the authors). However, the internet community is almost infinitely more broad and widespread, giving you access to various and sundry viewpoints. This can only help your research. :)

To be honest, most of the questions you asked wouldn’t be covered by most books. (And those books that covered them at all would probably do so indirectly by “talking around the topic.”) So it makes sense for you to ask the questions you have.

By the way, I’ve looked over your questions (I found out about them through Cosette) and think they are some of the best questions I’ve ever read. I hope to answer at least some of them at some point. I just need to make the time first.
