The Goddess Epona of the Sacred Way

The goddess Epona would be wonderful for me. She is often seen in her equine form as a white mare.

Image requested by R.E (The Sacred Space) :)

Digital Art Requests

Calling out to other mythology or Pagan bloggers out there! Does anyone have any requests for some divine digital art?

If you would like me to create a piece of digital art (for use on your blog) of a particular god, goddess, religious symbol, etc, let me know in the comments.

I’ve seen some of your other artwork, and it’s always impressive. :) If I might make a request, I’d love to see what you do with Angus Og and Caer Ibormeith, from the Celtic pantheon (I wrote about their story recently in my own blog). Angus Og is said to be pictured sometimes with four birds circling him (symbolized by the XXXX as “kisses” at the end of love letters), and Caer is, of course, a swan maiden, associated with dreams and intuition.

I’m partial to the Green Man, Hern and Cernnunose myself.

    Hi, Ali and thanks :D

Your request wil be quite a challenge, so I’ll see what I can come up with ;) . I’ve already found a few swan images, plus two others that I’m waiting upon the author for permisson.

Hopefully I’ll have something for you soon :)

Thanks for the challenge. And I really liked your version of the myth :)

Wowies!!!! Mahud, she is just wonderful. Talk about spiritual creativity. The image and the prayer sent shivers down my spine. I going to print the image out on glossy paper, put it in a nice frame, and give her a place of honor on my altar.

A thousand thanks and blessings for your great kindness.

    Hello,

I saw your image of Epona on Sacred Space and followed it right over here. Both the image and the words are stunning!

Perhaps this is presumptuous for someone who just entered the world of blogging yesterday, but would you be willing to create an image of Helios and Selene together?

After reading your blog, I trust where the creative process will take you if you elect to create the image. In my own mind, I see Selene as having ageless milky-white skin and flowing white or black hair. Helios, on the other hand, is tanned and weathered with a crown of burnt gold curls.

    Thank you for your consideration,
    Aeris

Hi Mahud! If you’re interested in creating more images (I LOVE what you did with Epona!), I’d be eternally grateful for a good image of Isis…

Hi, Aeris. I’d love to create something for you. I’ll try and stick as closely as posible to the way you visualize Apollo and Selene, if I can find the images :)
