The Pagan Name Generator

September 14, 2007 at 8:59 am by mahud

Recite this chant before using the Pagan name generator

Oh, great Pseudonomys, god of monikers
Empower this web page to reveal my true name.”

From now on you can call me Sun Rune Glimmer :D

    S. R. Glimmer,

I SO MUCH wanted to post a “name generator” of my own this week — but the logistical difficulties of creating the “quiz” scared me off. And now you’re pointing me to one someone already did!…

Another perfect example of how our ideas are not our own. :-)

    –Gwydion (né Jeff)

PS The “Avalon” fits me particularly well, don’t you think? :-)

    Erin Astra Serene.

Hmm…if you pronounce that last name as 3 syllables, I quite like it.
The Name Generator has improved of late.

    Love,
    E. Astra Serene in Joburg

Hello, I’m Boadicea Aidan Lothlorian. LOL Doesn’t quite trip right off the tongue. Actually, I would be interested in knowing more on folks thoughts on magical or Pagan names. I’m one who doesn’t have one and don’t really understand them. Sometimes, they seem awfully “fru-fru.” Thanks for the fun, Mahud.

hehe, that post has given me a lot to think about :D

    Avalon definitely suits you ;)

I like the Celtic Character Gwydion. I read somewhere that the name could be linked with Odin’s, although I have never came across any confirmation of that.

    It’s a bit of a mouthful, hehe.

I don’t really know how people choose their Pagan Names. I think in some cases they are given to them. I’d quite like one myself, anything but ‘Sun Rune Glimmer’, lol :D
