A Visit to the Rocky Mountains In Canada

On Saturday we spent the day at the Rocky Mountains, which also happened to be my first visit.

Rocky Mountains

The weather was beautiful. Clouds drifted through the blue sky and majestic sun shone brightly imbuing all with its warmth. We found a beautiful meadow with a lake. I spent sometime walking barefoot around the meadow until I finally reached the lake and sat down and watched the light of the sun ripple across the surface of the water, and spent some time meditating.

Afterwards we paid a visit the town of Banff, in the hope of finding a book store that stocked Pagan Books. After much searching we found a copy of Silver Ravenwolf’s Solitary Witch, and a wonderful pack of Tarot Cards called The Mythic Tarot.

On the journey home we saw the famous “Three Sisters.”

Sorry about my late response both of you.

You’re right Lyon, the mythic Tarot is beautiful. I love the way they divide the four suits of the minor arcana into greek myths (although I’m not sure the myth of Eros (Cupid) and Psyche, really qualifies as a Greek myth.

Thanks Andy. We had a really wonderful day. The photos don’t really do them justice, but yeah, they’re pretty powerful.
