Shanny and Me
Mythology and Paganism
I am an ex-Christian introduced to the world of Paganism after a ten year study of the Bible and mythology. I have a deep interest in world mythologies and comparative mythology, and the mythological symbolism of ‘dying (and rising) gods.’

Cosmic Mysteries of Re-Creation
I am also fascinated with the so-called dying and rising god, or as Wikipedia terms it, a Life-death-rebirth deity, also referred to as a Pagan Godman, or Pagan Christ. I usually use the term Mythological Victim, because often he is not presented as a god, on occasion is actually female, doesn’t always rise from the dead, and is Pre-Christian.
